Policies and Fees

 

  • My fee for individuals is currently $170 per 50 minute session, and payment is required at the end of each session either by e-transfer or major credit card. I will provide a receipt for tax or insurance purposes.
  • As Psychotherapy is now a regulated industry in Ontario, it is now covered under many extended health care plans. Psychotherapists are now exempt from charging HST.
  • I require 24 hours notice if a client wishes to cancel a scheduled appointment or the full session fee will apply.
  • I expect to start the session on time and if the client arrives late, the session will still end 50 minutes from the scheduled start time.
  • I reserve the right to terminate treatment at any time. If I feel that another therapist may serve you and your needs better I will be able to refer you to another practitioner. 

 

My Commitment to You

  • I will be on time and ready to work at the scheduled appointment time 
  • I will give as much notice as possible in the event that I need to cancel a scheduled appointment and will make every effort to re-book the session as soon as possible.
  • I assure full client confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards of behavior and conduct as dictated by the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario.
